News from General Insurance Association of Singapore (GIA)

We have received the GIA's Newsletter Edition 8 Oct-Dec 2008. This Edition's Content:

GIA has a new logo pointing the way to exciting future of insurance industry. They keep attracting talents from home and abroad students on career prospects in the general insurance industry. GIA is also very active in promoting internship program funded and supported by authority. They also continue their strong partnership with Maritime Foundation to enhance the maritime knowledge of insurance practitioners.On June 1,2008 GIA launched the Motor Claims Frameworks that encourage motorist to report their accident within 24 hours or on the next working day. This Newsletter also covered Special reports on:34th AIC Meeting, AYIM 2nd Intake, ASEAN Young Manager Award 2008, and 24th EAIC. GIA held Golf for Charity to donate charity homes. On Insurance Day commemoration they expressed support for greener environment through Tree-Planting event and donated to Garden City Fund. GIA also sponsored an Anti-Drink Drive Campaign 2008.On Oct 9,2008 GIA met MAS in an informal Futsal challenge.
